Computer and Human Body Similarities

Brain (subconscious)

This is responsible of doing everything a human does subconsciously and so this does everything to make the computer operate.

Hard disk

Brain

(conscious)

Our memories and thoughts that we cherish everyday is stored in our brain, while computers stores data in the hard disk.

Motherboard

Nervous System

The motherboard is easily compared to the human body's nervous system. The wires (nerves) on it transfer data between all of the other components. Having a high-quality motherboard (not described in retail computers) is essential to a reliable computer.

Speaker

Mouth

Both the speaker and the mouth produce sound waves.

Mouse

Hands

We use the mouse so that we will be able to do what we want to do in the computer, while in our body we use our hands to do what we want.

RAM

Muscles

RAM is like a muscle in our body in a sense that the higher the capacity the faster it can do things.

Web Camera

Eyes

Eyes are organs that detect light, and send signals along the optic nerve to the visual and other areas of the brain, and the computer to the CPU.

Microphone

Ears

Both of them are the same in a way that the two of them receives sound waves.

Keyboard

Skin

Same with our senses we can obtain information and be able to sense things around us.

Monitor

Face

Both of them displays or projects things, in our face we can display our feelings and on

the other hand the monitor can show the progress.
